SET is an acronym for “Same Exact Time”. The SET is a revolutionary “scramble” event that has a patent-pending format that allows amateurs on a team to start their swings at the Same Exact Time. Golfers across the country will enjoy this format because it is new, exciting, and most of all, will bring back some old-fashioned fun to the golf course. It will also eliminate all the flaws inherent in traditional scrambles like slow play and questionable scores. It is FAST, FAIR, and FUN!

The SET Scramble is a new format that corrects all of the major flaws that are inherent in the standard 4-player scramble, the first and foremost of those being the 10 different ways to cheat (scoring, inaccuracies in the closest to the pin and long drive measurements, etc.) By using the SET Scramble format, each of the 10 ways to cheat in a standard scramble format will be dramatically reduced, if not eliminated all together. The faster pace of play will also create a more enjoyable experience and leave more time for the post tournament functions that may include lunch/dinner, raffles, auctions etc.

The social aspect of the event will also be enhanced as each group with be at least twice the size as a standard scramble creating the opportunity to socialize during the round with additional players. The ability to place more golfers in an event will also increase the revenue to the charity/organization as well as generate additional revenue to the golf course, facility, and food and beverage.
